Our more than 10 years of experience working with some of the largest and smallest companies in the world has taught us the importance of high-standards and of listening hard and asking tough questions in order to maximize success.  With US sales and operations in Boston and Philadelphia and a development center in Split, Croatia, extensionEngine has proven itself as a strong partner, innovator and problem solver for critical technology and business issues.

The company was founded as a small private consultancy practice in 1997.  Steady growth allowed the management team to capitalize product development successes with the launch of retentionEngine (www.retentionengine.com) in 2000.  The firm’s development and consultancy practice also continued to expand and re-launched as extensionEngine in 2003. 

ExtensionEngine’s structure, expertise, solid project management and execution methodologies provide clients’ and partners’ with experienced, resourceful and dedicated turn-key development teams.  The talented and expeditious software developers and engineers which comprise them have a track record of enabling profitable and aggressive corporate growth.  The company has over $1M in annual revenues and some 50 full-time engineers with extensive experience and skills in desktop, database, internet, and mobile technology developments. 

We are proud that extensionEngine’s average engineer turnover is under five percent (5%) a year - quite low against the US norm which hovers somewhere around 15-20%.   Our teams have demonstrable histories of developing great products, great design elements and ultimately of producing very good work.  Their knowledge, skills and strengths are constantly augmented and growing; foundationally core strengths comprise databases, mobile systems and technologies, web-based interfaces.

In spite of broad range of development work we find the demand for our work more recently focuses in mobile- and medical-device database, platform and application development activities.  While we’re pleased to meet any client-partner’s needs we can, our preference leans towards partnering with companies open to establishing a long-term development relationship.
